We ended the month of October with carving our class pumpkin. It turns out that almost half the class had never carved a pumpkin before so it was quite a treat. We turned our carving into a math lesson by talking about estimating how many seeds were in the pumpkin . The best part was watching the children's reactions when they stuck their hands in the slimey pumpkin guts. It was so cute!
I absolutely love this! You wonderful ladies always come up with the best ideas to get the kids involved and it looks like they had a blast doing this great activity!
