In addition to our regular math block the children also work in math centers. These centers allow the students to work on their interactive math skills. We are currently working on writing and ordering numbers up to thirty, roll and count, which teaches one to one correspondence and dot card concentration. Each station rotates everyday which allows the students a balanced math experience. This is also an opportunity to teach the children how to interact with a partner and work on their social skills. Not to mention that the kids have an absolute blast!
